n.b. Drum lessons are only offered as option 1.

The school subsidises each student's lesson and this subsidy is currently £15.80 per term.  This is conditional on good attendance to lessons and regular practice.

Students are normally offered 12 lessons each term. However, because of possible clashes with school examinations, trips, school events, staff absences and school closures we only guarantee offering a minimum of 10 lessons each term.

Students come out of their school lessons to attend their instrumental lesson.  We rotate lesson times where possible to avoid students missing the same school lesson each week.

If a student is absent from a lesson their parents will be informed and asked to give a reason to cover their child's absence.

The music department runs many extra curricular music activates all of which are free.  Pupils undertaking instrumental lessons will be expected to attend at least one of these per week
